More than Conquerors

Here it is March and I haven’t posted anything since January. Well, I did create my Creative Calling tab. But that’s it. Life and work got in the way. But today, I find myself with extra time. Like many of you, my place of employment has closed for the time being. And while I do need a source of income, I find that extra time is something I can use as a positive force to share more here with you. It’s what I’ve prayed for. I’ve prayed for more time to create. More time to share. More time to encourage others. And here it is. A chance to develop this blog to so much of what I initially created it for. To:

  • Honor the Lord
  • Grow in His Grace
  • Encourage Others
  • Walk in His Truth

It’s also an opportune time to delve deeper in the Word, studying and meditating on God’s life plan for me and for you. It’s all there. We need just to take the time to “visit” him each day to find out what He has to say!

And to get started, I first read my last post, which was in January. It’s titled Take Heart. I’ve linked it here, if you haven’t had a chance to read it yet. And today I’d like to take that previous post a step further and tell you, we are more than conquerors! I’d like for you to study Romans 8:26-39. And be especially encouraged by this. Can anything ever separate us from Christ’s love? Does it mean he no longer loves us if we have trouble or calamity, or are persecuted, or hungry, or destitute, or in danger, or threatened with death? ; No, despite all these things, overwhelming victory is ours through Christ, who loved us. ~Romans 8:35 & 8:37 NLT

My notes for Romans 8:26-39 tell me that the Holy Spirit strengthens us in our weakness. God sent the Holy Spirit to us as a comforter and helper. He prays perfect prayers over us. For us. Through us. And I am encouraged that all things work for my good as I pray, love God and want His will. Notice, I didn’t say my will. His will. Look at Romans 8:28 with me.

And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called according to his purpose for them.

And now skip down to Romans 8:30.

And having chosen them, he called them to come to him. And having called them, he gave them right standing with himself. And having given them right standing, he gave them his glory.

We cannot be separated from God’s Love. Paul is telling us here; God is for us! He provides everything we need.

“Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous! Do not tremble or be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go.”

So in these days ahead. During this unprecedented time we live in. Be encouraged. Be strengthened by his message throughout scripture.

‘Do not fear, for I am with you;

Do not anxiously look about you, for I am your God.

I will strengthen you, surely I will help you,

Surely I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.’

Isaiah 41:10

May you find calm in these days ahead. May you find comfort. May you find peace. With a transforming heart. ~Dale

Thank you for this reminder! It has been resonating with me over the past few days as well–God is in control. More than anything else, we must remember that fact. I can’t wait to read more from you!
